What a journey this video has been on! I’m so excited to share this video with you all. Literally so much has happened since we started this project. I started writing the concept in the spring of last year while in Chile. Francis and Desirée reached out about this project and after listening to the song, I was 100% in.

Lauren and I spent 3 weeks on Chiloé Island in a little cabin. I passed the days baking, writing, watching movies, going on walks and playing with Mago, a friendly stray that would come pay us visits. To be honest, it wasn’t much different than right now in isolation.

After some back and forth with Francis & Desirée, we landed on the theme of our ancestors that felt right for the song and video. The idea that we are always guided by our ancestors during difficult times. When I came back from travelling in August, Phil helped pull the production together in a huge way. I’m so grateful for all the people who lent their talent to make this video happen. Especially Chanel, Kevin and Yayoi who brought the beautiful dance pieces to life.

It’s been a little over a year since the idea begun and it’s so exciting to be able to share this project with you all. Enjoy!
